Single mothers in Japan are at a poverty rate of 56%, yet 85% participate in the labor forceーthe highest among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Aligned with our core mission to empower women, we have started The Butterfly Fund for single mothers interested in software engineering.
Your donation will have a direct impact on single mothers’ ability to attend our software engineering programs.
Who can donate?
Anyone can be a donor. There are no limitations on the amount you can contribute to The Butterfly Fund. Code Chrysalis's administrative costs are zero and 100% of your donation will be gifted to the recipient.
A detailed report of students who receive the scholarship will be published annually.
